Thanks to UNO, I can now be part of a small, but growing, percentage of undocumented women with a bachelor’s degree.

“I am undocumented first born child, so going to college was initially not an option for me. In high school I was told I would be a statistic and work an under the table job, “just like the rest of us.” When I showed my parents the bill for my first semester they agreed that it was affordable. Since the campus tour until my last day of class in senior year I was absolutely grateful to be blessed with continuing my higher education with UNO.
Thanks to UNO, I can now be part of a small, but growing, percentage of undocumented women with a bachelor’s degree.”
