Community Reflection Wall
An ongoing collection of memories submitted by UNO community members.
There was a tremendous sense of unity and we felt we could change the world in more ways than one.
Thanks to UNO, I can now be part of a small, but growing, percentage of undocumented women with a bachelor’s degree.
I was in the first class in 1958
UNO became my home away from home
I transferred from University of Houston expecting opportunity and stability, but instead found a campus operating in harsh temporary conditions
UNO will always be my university
I took UNO for granted in the beginning.
I will always be #UNOProud, and my heart will always be silver and blue.
I still have my UNO - ID
My love for history is exceptional because it is a great program.
I am 89 years old and worked at LSUNO and UNO from 1964 to 1996.
My memories of UNO start on day one at registration
